We're officially into week 2 of our build, and there is more action on site ... although I'm not sure what these things are called ...

Peirings and a Port-a-Loo ...

So we went for a quick drive by today .... didn't stay long cause it was so hot outside, but our peirings are done!

The site is all ready for the slab this week!

OMG .... Site Scrape ... Woo Hoo!!

Rich went by the block today and saw ....

Finally our house is starting!

Gary our Site Supervisor called today and said that the peirings will be done this week, then our slab is scheduled for next Wednesday ... Woo Hoo!!

Site Start Appointment booked ...

Woo Hoo .... finally things are starting to happen.

We are booked in for our Site Start Appointment on Tuesday 6th October.

Council Application - Consent Granted!

Today our lovely CSO at Eden Brae emailed us to let us know that we've got our Council Approval ... Our house number is going to be 23!

Now the fun begins!!!

Settlement Day ... YAY!

At 3pm today we got the call from our Conveyancer to let us know that Settlement had taken place!

So after 5 months and 5 days after paying our holding deposit on the block, it's finally ours!

On the way home from work tonight we detoured by the block, and I only had the point and shoot with me, so the only decent piccie I got was of our tree growing out the front ...
