Settlement Day ... YAY!
At 3pm today we got the call from our Conveyancer to let us know that Settlement had taken place!
So after 5 months and 5 days after paying our holding deposit on the block, it's finally ours!
On the way home from work tonight we detoured by the block, and I only had the point and shoot with me, so the only decent piccie I got was of our tree growing out the front ...

Tiles, Carpets and Electrical ......
What a long day, I'm drained ..... and broke ..... 6K on extra electrical (44 downlights to the living areas, master and front eaves, fab spot-lights out the back and sides, and more power points than we'll ever need!), and we'll know exactly how much our beautiful glass tiles are in a week or two!
The decisions I thought would be difficult were easy and the decisions I thought would be easy were hard ...
Daniel at Di Lorenzo was fab at helping us with our selections, and Tammy at Home Options was amazing guiding us through the electrical layout!

The first post ...
We've picked the block and the builder, paid the deposits and are waiting for The Dept of Lands to register our land.
It all started in early March when we first saw some Eden Brae display homes, and I fell in love!!
In late March we settled on the Saville 25 layout, and increased the size to 27 squares with Eden Brae's 'Expand your Manor' promo.
We've just recently picked our bricks and roof tiles and signed our contract with Eden Brae.
Our next appointment is at the Home Options Gallery on June 17, where we'll pick our internal colours and our kitchen ...
